GOAL
- To provide diverse stimulating and highly challenging out-of-school learning opportunities for gifted students
- To help them explore and develop their talents and potential in an enriched learning environment

PROGRAM CONTENT 
(1) Courses and Workshops for Students
- From July 14 to August 31, 2012
- A total of 61 courses and workshops for Primary 3 through Secondary 7 students.
- Small class-size will be maintained .


(2) Parent Activity 

- Seminars, workshops, and sharing & discussion groups are offered for parents.
- Seminars titled "Gifted Education and Related Resources in Hong Kong" will be offered.

VENUE
- All assessments, seminars, courses and workshops (except field trips) are held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, N.T. 

APPLICATION
- Applicants may apply for one or more courses according to their grade levels and interests.
- Those who want to attend two or more courses must submit separate applications.
- Avoid taking courses conducted at the same time.

FEE
- Application Fee: HK$180 (non-refundable)

SCHOLARSHIP
- Applicants who require financial assistance are invited to apply for our scholarships (including the Madam LO TSE Yin Man Scholarship).
- Decision of award and the amount to be awarded will depend on the applicant's family financial situation, and will not exceed three-fourths of the tuition fee.
- Scholarship applications are assessed independently from program admissions.

ASSESSMENT
- All applicants have to attend a written assessment at The Chinese University of Hong Kong on May 19, 26 or June 2, 2012 (Saturdays).
- All applicants will be notified of their assigned assessment session in writing.
- Absence from assessment without prior notice will be considered as withdrawal from application. (Application fee is non-refundable)

ADMISSION
- Selection for admission is based on the applicant's school recommendation, evidence demonstrating the applicant's talents and potentials (such as awards, prizes, or other recognitions), public assessments and school examination results, the PGT written assessment, and the courses and/or workshops applied.
- Application results will be announced on the PGT website in early July, 2012. Applicants will also be individually notified of their application results in writing.
